The purpose of CEDIT is to facilitate the work of the UPCT’s various units and research groups, obtaining the maximum return on available resources and providing services to companies and institutions outside the UPCT.
The Technological Research Support Service (Servicio de Apoyo a la Investigación Tecnológica – SAIT) groups together:
Technological instrumentation service (Servicio de Instrumentación Tecnológica) – SIT
Industrial design and scientific calculation service (Servicio de Diseño Industrial y Cálculo Científico) – SEDIC

The characteristics of the equipment or programs installed exceed the scope of action of a single department or centre.
The Centre for Development in Technological Innovation (CEDIT) includes services that depend on the three above mentioned SAIT, and houses technology-based companies and research projects.
